Vi informiamo con piacere che il prof. Peter Liljedahl sarà ospite presso il nostro Dipartimento per due incontri dedicati alla Thinking Classroom.
Il primo incontro, di carattere principalmente seminariale e rivolto a ricercatori, ricercatrici e docenti della scuola, si terrà il 14 maggio, dalle 10:00 alle 13:00, presso la Sala riunioni, primo livello.
Il secondo incontro, in forma di workshop e rivolto in particolare agli studenti e alle studentesse, si terrà il 15 maggio, sempre dalle 11:00 alle 14:00, presso la Sala riunioni, primo livello.
Entrambi gli incontri si svolgeranno esclusivamente in presenza e sono aperti a chiunque avesse piacere di partecipare.

ABSTRACT: Much of how classrooms look and much of what happens in them today is guided by institutional norms laid down at the inception of an industrial-age model of public education. These norms have enabled a culture of teaching and learning that is often devoid of student thinking. In this workshop, participants will experience some of the results of over 15 years of research into how teachers can transform their classrooms from a space where students mimic to where students think. The practices discussed will intertwine with, and make extensive references to, the best-selling books, Building Thinking Classrooms in Mathematics (Grades K-12): 14 Teaching Practices for Enhancing Learning and Tasks for the Thinking Classroom (K-5 and 6-12).
